Daniel Maughan is a consultant psychiatrist in general adult psychiatry. He has been awarded the Royal College of Psychiatrists President’s Medal for services to psychiatry and is involved with mental health research at Oxford University. Alongside working privately, he also works in the NHS in Oxfordshire. He is passionate about supporting people to understand their mental health problems and find the right combination of treatments to achieve recovery. He has a wealth of experience in caring for people across the adult age range (18 to 65 years).

Insurance
Accepts self payment and is approved with the following health insurers: AXA PPP, BUPA, Vitality, Cigna, WPA, Healix and Aviva.
Appointments and fees
Initial assessments are 60 minutes and follow up appointments are 30 minutes. If you are self funding, the initial assessment is £400 and follow ups are £250 each. If you are using health insurance, Dr Maughan will charge at the rate agreed with the insurer.
